Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
The Commercial Pilot License (CPL) is the final step to start your career in aviation. You will achieve an internationally recognized ICAO compliant license. (ICAO = International Civil Aviation Organisation)
The training for Commercial Pilot License (CPL) consists of the following:
- Theory & Exams
- Aircraft Technical and General
- Flight Planning and Performance
- Air Law
- Navigation
- Instruments
- Radio Aids and Communication
- Meteorology
- Human Performance and Limitations
- Instrument rating
- General Radio Telephony Communication Licence
- Flight Exercise & Briefings
- Minimum of 200hrs flying hours
- Night rating
- Instrument rating
- Flight test for Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
The requirements for Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Age minimum of 18 years
- Medical fit (Class 1 aviation medical certificate)
- Language proficiency Level 4 (must be able to read, write, and converse fluently in English)
- Holder of an Private Pilot License (PPL)
Duration of Commercial Pilot License (CPL) training
The training can be completed in 12 months if you are a full time student, or can be completed over a longer period as a part time student. The training schedule is built around each student’s availability and budget.
