Instructor rating (Grade III)
The Instructor rating (Grade III) opens one of many aviation career doors, where you will train the next generation of aviators.

The training for Instructor rating (Grade III) consists of the following:

• Theory & Exams
  • 2 Exams

• Flight Exercise & Briefings
  • Minimum of 20hrs patter flying hours
  • Minimum of 80hrs ground briefings

• Flight test for Instructor rating (Grade III)

The requirements for Instructor rating (Grade III) 

• Medical fit (Class 1 aviation medical certificate)
• Language proficiency Level 4 (must be able to read, write, and converse fluently in English)
• Holder of Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or Airline Transport License (ATPL)

Duration of Instructor rating (Grade III) training

The training can be completed in 3 months if you are a full time student, or can be completed over a longer period as a part time student. The training schedule is built around each student’s availability and budget.
