NR – Night Rating
The Night Rating is the next step toward the CPL, and an excellent addition to the skills of any PPL.
The training consists of three main components:
- Theory&Exam
- Instrument Flight Training
- Night Flight Training.
- The training can be completed in 10 days if you are a full time student, and if the weather plays along. It is important to plan the training so that the night flights can take place in the week of First Quarter to Full Moon. The training can also be completed over a longer period as a part time student. The training schedule is built around each student’s availability.With the NR you can fly at night under visual weather conditions (called VFR Night).
